April 23, 1949 - January 29, 2021


Life began for Cynthia Elizabeth Jackson in West Chester, Pennsylvania on April 23, 1949. She was born the daughter of the late Charles and Lula Carter Jackson.

On January 29, 2021 while at the Jennersville Regional Medical Center in Jennersville, Pennsylvania, Cynthia departed this life at the age of seventy-one years.

Cynthia was a graduate of Kenneth Square High School. She later matriculated in Nursing School and earned her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked in several Healthcare Facilities and retired from the Pocopson Nursing Home with over thirty years of service.

Realizing that without God she could do nothing she united with the Star of Bethlehem UAME in West Grove, Pennsylvania where she remained a faithful member.

She enjoyed many things in life including: crocheting, socializing and watching the ID Channel. Her favorite color was red.

Cynthia’s great legacy will forever be cherished by her sons: Jeffrey Jackson and Maurice Jackson both of Oxford, her grandson: Kristopher Jackson of Oxford, brothers: Charles Jackson, Jr. of Delaware, Clarence Jackson (Jess) of the Poconos, Alfred Jackson (Jan) of Delaware, Gary Jackson (Danielle) of Delaware, Edward Jackson of Coatesville and Robert Jackson both of Oxford, her sister: Kathy Quail of Coatesville, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends including; Gerry Hicks, Loretta Twyman, Madge Sexton and Lisa Jackson.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia was predeceased by her son: Kris Jackson and two siblings: Ebby Twyman and John Jackson.

A public walk-thru viewing will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 9:00 am until time of services at the Emmett Golden Hunt Memorial Chapel. A private funeral service will be held with family and special friends at 11:00 am. The funeral service will be broadcasted live on the FaceBook page of the Emmett Golden Hunt Memorial Chapel.
